Become an evaluator!

Support the EU Commission as an expert evaluator to assist with the implementation, evaluation and monitoring of Horizon Europe and other funding programmes!
As an evaluator, you assess project proposals, but can also be involved in the strategic development of EU research policy.
1) Horizon Europe and further EU funding
1. First create an EU login account by clicking on "Register" on the Funding and Tender Opportunities portal at the top right
--> You also need the EU login account for project applications and administration. Please avoid multiple registrations!
2. Register now as an expert for your field under "Register as Expert"
--> Here information is among others in the areas of expertise, university education, foreign language skills and publications. The more complete the profile, the more likely it is to be selected as an assessor.
3. The EU Commission selects experts for calls and specific topics from the pool of experts and usually written by email.
--> Within the profile, you can also choose which funding lines you would like to work for - possibly beyond Horizon Europe.

2) Projects with national and transnational cooperations
Call management of transnational projects is handled via the EVAL-INCO 2.0 database. Experts from the EVAL-INCO 2.0 database support the scientific assessment of project outlines in the area of national or transnational tenders (e.g. ERA-NETs and ERA COFUND).
