The EU Academic Network of Saxony-Anhalt
The universities in the state of Saxony-Anhalt founded the “EU academic network of Saxony-Anhalt” at the beginning of 2011.
The partners of the network are:
- Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg
- Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg
- Burg Giebichenstein University for Art and Design Halle
- University of Applied Police Sciences Saxony-Anhalt
- Anhalt University of Applied Sciences
- Harz University of Applied Sciences
- Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences
- Merseburg University of Applied Sciences
The universities in the state of Saxony-Anhalt have formed a network for EU research funding. The network is funded by the European Union and the state of Saxony-Anhalt as part of the program “Saxony-Anhalt SCIENCE – Equality, Qualification, Young Talent ESF+.” It encompasses all universities in the state and is active in the areas of information dissemination, consulting, and project management in the field of EU research funding. The aim of this network is to perform EU research funding tasks for all universities in the state and to establish a sustainable funding infrastructure.
The Academic Network maintains two EU offices, one at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and one at Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg.

- We offer training and information events.
- We support you in project management.
