Wales and Randstad Region will host the first regional conference in Cardiff, Wales. This will be the first in a series of conferences across Europe to bring together partners and stakeholders from regions who are committed to and interested in smart specialisation approaches. Through the series of conferences, participants will:

Hear about how Vanguard Initiative member regions are advancing the aims of the network and addressing shared challenges through collaboration
Undertake a site visit to a key technology facility
Meet with partners and stakeholders from across Europe with an interest in Smart Specialisation approaches, with a view to developing new collaborative relationships
