Missions
Missions are new instruments that are being implemented for the first time under Horizon Europe. Missions are supposed to head for clearly defined, ambitious but achievable goals that solve the current social challenges in Europe through interdisciplinary innovations. The new format of the missions is implemented across five mission areas:
- cancer
- adaptation to climate change including societal transformation
- healthy oceans, seas coastal and inland waters
- climate-neutral and smart cities
- soil health and food
