COST campaigns support scientific networks in which scientists from at least 7 countries funded by COST participate. The basis is a joint work program for a period of 4 years. The scientific topics are initiated "bottom-up" by the researchers. Funding for the network is up to 130,000 euros / year.

• Network activities / meetings / conference
• Workshops and seminars
• short scientific exchanges and training schools
• Traveling expenses
• Management activity
• Publications, websites and the dissemination of the results
