Aerospace Research: International Information Days and Brokerage Event

The German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the EU-funded network project COSMOS 2020 are the organizers of the International Information Day for the Call for space research under Horizon 2020.

The event will take place on 14 and 15 November 2018 in Berlin-Adlershof, providing first-hand information on the sixth space bid in Horizon 2020, as well as key recommendations and tips for a competitive applications. Match-making sessions provide the opportunity to expand your network and to explore future collaborations. In pitch sessions, you may present your  project ideas.

Conference "Europe's Transformation: Where People Matter"

The conference sheds light on the transition towards a resilient and sustainable society. Conference topics range from social and distributional aspects of a fair society to the role of the financial sector, which enables a transformation of sustainability. Particular attention is paid to the sustainable use of natural resources and the mitigation of climate change. The role of the media is examined in the face of the challenge of a sustainable transformation of society. The digital revolution has already changed the world in which we live. The conference raises the question of whether there is a chance to shape a sustainable digital economy.

During the two-day event, speakers from politics, science, civil society and the private sector will have their say. Participatory conference formats allow for dialogue.

FCH 2 JU Stakeholder Forum und Programme Review Days 2018

Registration for this year's Stakeholder Forum and the Technology Initiative for Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Programme Days are open.

The Programme Review Days will focus on projects funded by FCH JU and their recent achievements. Participants have the opportunity to interact with project coordinators and attend a poster exhibition.

This year, the program will also feature the FCH JU Awards for the Best Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Success Story, to be held on Thursday, 15 November 2018 at the Autoworld Museum.

The Stakeholder Forum will bring together representatives from EU institutions, industry and research and other energy and climate stakeholders on the following topics:

Session I - The Road to Consumers - will look at the strategic development of hydrogen infrastructure in Europe
Session II - Cooperation: Sectoral Integration - will highlight the importance of sectoral integration through cooperation with other actor
Session III - European Hydrogen Economy in a Global Context discusses the latest international developments and fuel cells and hydrogen as areas of economic growth and job creation.

"Fair of European Innovators in Cultural Heritage"

Conference of the "European Institute for Innovation through Health Data"

On 19 and 20 November 2018, the annual conference of the European Institute for Innovation through Health Data will take place in Gothenburg. Here, experts from various research-oriented industrial companies, from European research institutes and universities as well as several patient associations will talk about and discuss the use of health data, its benefits, evaluation and risks as well as strategies and planning of clinical trials.

In lectures, workshops and a panel discussion, methods, results, tools, platforms, regulatory and privacy requirements, patient involvement and the quality of health data are discussed. Among the presentations are projects of the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI). The program offers many opportunities for discussion, networking and exchange with stakeholders from different sectors.
